In 1985 when I was sixteen I was at a run of gigs at Barrowlands, Glasgow including REM, Julian Cope and Aztec Camera..can't remember which was first.

Record Bought

First single was 'Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick' (Ian Dury) with a record token I got at Christmas..first album was 'A Hard Day's Night' when my older brother moved out taking his Beatles records with him!

Live Performance

Fernhill Youth Club in 1983, aged 14 in my first band, we were either called The Early Hours or The Reactions at the time and played a set which included a couple of early efforts of mine as well as Louie Louie, House Of The Rising Sun, Rhythm Of The Rain
